The great King of Translation Marpa Chokyi Lodroe travelled to India several times
and recieved the complete teachings of Buddhism especially the Anutara yoga teachings
which come from the realization of Buddha Vajradhara Marpa recieved these teachings from great Indian masters by virtue of offering mandalas composed of the most valuable
substances such as pure gold thereby attaining the state of Vajradhara known
as Hevajra in human form He trasmitted these teachings to his disciples from Tibet
Since then Marpa Kagyu became famous as the sun and moon At the same time a host
of many great mahasiddhas flourished and amoung them the great Ngog Choeku Dorje
who attained the highest realization and spread the Vajrayana teachings of Marpa
kagyu These precious golden lineage teachings were preserved by seven generations of
Ngog who disseminated them all over Tibet The great Jamgon Kongtrul Lodroe Thaye the 1st
with utmost diligence collected all these teachings and practices which are more precious than wish fulfilling jewels into a comprehensive collection known as Kagyu Ngagzo Chenmo

Phantom59, thanks for all the amazing posts you keep us all posted with all the up to date Dharma events. I don;t know how you do it.
I have looked everywhere for more information on the Kagyu Ngazod Chenmo empowerments everywhere without any luck. Where can i get more information?

thanks, but i am not looking for more information on the empowerments, per se. I am more referring to the actual empowerment during Sep 20- Oct 14 in Sikkim. Where is it posted outside of this Site? I am thinking of going and trying to figure out if I could. since from what i have read, you can only get a permit to be in Sikkim for a week at a time. Then, you would need to apply for another one. But if I would be in Ralang then how would I be able to get a permit. So, I am looking at the itinerary of the possibilities of attending. Palchen Chosling Monastery doesn't have a web site that i could ask them....?
