Nepali?

Postby kirtu » Mon Nov 29, 2010 5:45 pm

I was recently at an event in Queens where there was translation into what I thought was Nepali (it sounded somewhat different from Hindi that I have heard). I could also follow some of it because it was related to Sanskrit (in fact I was picking out Sanskrit Buddhist terms but when the translation was made into English the subject and even some details were what I thought they were).

So, are there any good sources for learning Nepali (aside from going to Nepal of course)? Any adequate audio learning sources?
