Large Bon carvings discovered in Southern China

A group of cliffside carvings, dating back to the 11th and 12th century, were discovered at Lewu township of Jinchuan county in southwest China's Sichuan province. Between May 19 and 22, 2014, China's renowned expert on Buddhist archaeology Wen Yucheng and expert on petroglyphs from Minzu University of China Zhang Yasha conducted on-site survey on the line engravings. A total of nine groups of stone engravings, which feature Tibetan Bonism, were discovered. It's the largest cliffside carvings about Tibetan Bonism discovered in China.
