Seeing rainbows at night

So I was at an Empowerment last monday in Manchester. My mother(in denmark) said that she woke up in middle of the night because light was shining at her through the window, and when she looked out she saw a rainbow or rainbow light at night.

So, I actually read something from Lama Ýeshe, where he was talking about Phowa and death. He said that seeing a rainbow at night is a sign that you will die within 6 months or something like that.

Soo, should I be worried about my mum?

Of course it could just be a moonbow, it just in the context that is strong enough to wake her up and that i happened on the night of me attending teachings.
