I've ordered Dudjom Lingpa's autobiography. Reading "Mind in comfort and Ease" by the Dalai Lama every once in a while (only read the root text in full).

I am currently reading the first volume Jim Valby's translation of Khenpo Zhenpen Osers commentary on the Kunjed Gyalpo.
Its very good.

Really a treasure and excellent resource for putting into practice the lojong trainings as they have been originally taught.

Thats an awesome book.
The next LOTC is going to be really good too. It has a lamrim style text in it by Sakya Pandita.

I think they are calling it Stages of the Buddhas Teaching or something like that. It wont be out for a while yet.

Paul Williams, The Reflexive Nature of Awareness: A Tibetan Madhyamaka Defence (Motilal Banarsidass, 1998). About the debate between Tsongkhapa and Mipham over the ninth chapter of Shantideva's Bodhicaryavatara.

Eagerly awaiting two new books on the AA, one by the Padmakara Translation group.

I am reading a book called "The Great Medicine" by Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche. Using the classic text by Shechen Gyaltsap Gyurme Pema Namgyal as a guide, Rinpoche uses examples from his own life and anecdotes about his teachers ( Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche) to point out the many ways for applying the Buddhist teachings in a practical way.


I have just started reading this book and am finding it a good read.

Not so much reading but listening to Pema Chodron: Be Grateful to Everyone!

Our sangha is reading & discussing The Awakening of Faith right now. Next, it's the Sutra of Complete Enlightenment.

I just finished reading Namkhai Norbu's book on Dream Yoga.

Pema Chodron isn't usually my cup of tea, but I recently romped through "Practicing Peace in Times of War". It's full of good stuff, although the book doesn't seem to have a lot to do with the title. It might have been better titled "Practicing Peace in Socially Awkward Moments at the Tea Party".


Nonetheless, one chapter has a really good introduction to the concept of shenpa and the mindfulness practices that can revolve around it, and the rest of the book is above average reading.
