Dont no how to find a teacher! Or temple!

Dont no how to find a teacher! Or temple!

I do not no how to find a teacher our a temple! I live in a small town in nc and we don't have anything like that here! What should I do?

Where in NC are you?

I wouldn't worry too much about finding a teacher. Focus on a sangha you can associate with, even if only once a month. The teacher will come later.

You will most likely have to travel a bit.

Thanks I looked at your post! They were very helpful! A bi-annual retreat would be absolutly perfect! How would I find the one for me! ? :shrug:

As already mentioned don't worry about finding a teacher right now, read and listen to teachings... Begin with some basic teachings such as four noble truths and the three seals also learn to meditate and practice regularly. From these simple procedures so much will develop. :anjali:
