maybe you should check out in what monasteries he has studied and lived and go to one of them..
If the thought of demons
Never rises in your mind,
You need not fear the demon hosts around you.
It is most important to tame your mind within....

In so far as the Ultimate, or the true nature of being is concerned,
there are neither buddhas or demons.
He who frees himself from fear and hope, evil and virtue,
will realize the insubstantial and groundless nature of confusion.
Samsara will then appear as the mahamudra itself….

The best Theraveda monk that has mp3 recordings in English online is definitely without a doubt Bhikkhu Thanissaro.

I can tell you that Yuttadhammo Bhikkhu is a young man without much experience and he's been associating with charlatan gurus online. He did a internet radio show with one in the past. To his credit, I believe he broke off contact with that charlatan the moment he was told of his mistake. But I'm not 100% sure about that.

you are a sock puppet.
Make as many accounts as you want; people can identify your deception with this test.

Number of videos doesn't make someone a great monk. Not saying he isn't, just pointing out the fallacy of your assumption.

On a side note, would you mind writing in plain English and note "text speak", not everyone here is young enough to understand and a great many more are from other countries where English is not their first language.

not necessarily but young people tend to place importance on unimportant things. like this example that the quantity is better than quality. allthough i dont have any reason to doubt that the bhikku he is listening to isnt good. im sure he helps a lot of people. but the point was that if we place importance on the amount of video one person has and admire and praise and remark that as something higher and better compared to one who has 10 videos. the 10 videos might be of better quality of teachings and from a much more accomplished master.

but i wouldnt say brainwashed. he is studying buddhism, obviously he hasnt been brainwashed thoroughly enough.

old people also place importance on unimportant things, and worse, we don't have the excuse of youth to blame it on.

I enjoy Tiger's posts. Within naivete, there is wisdom. And his naivete reminds me of how naive we all are. Hence we are all on the path. From the perspective of a Buddha, how naive we must all appear?

And as you point out, he IS studying Buddhism. :anjali:

For entertainment this guy takes it hands-down. Funny part is, people do attend his courses! Don't know if he qualifies as a "monk" though from what he says.
