Here is a retreat that looks interesting. I've read a little bit about the Mahamudra Hermitage Project which looks very worthwhile. So I'm going to post a link here to information about the upcoming five-day retreat. I couldn't find anywhere on the website where there's a cut-off date for registration, so perhaps people can register anytime.
Discovering the Dharma
Five-day retreat with H.E. Trungram Gyaltrul Rinpoche
(3rd in the series)
United Trungram Buddhist Fellowship & Dharmakaya
Wednesday, May 26th through Monday, May 31th, 2010 (including Memorial Day weekend)
UTBF Retreat Center

The Dharma is transcultural. These teachings of the Buddha describe the way things really are, the way universes work, and all the skillful means by which ultimate reality may be realized. The Dharma is true for all times and in all places.
"Discovering the Dharma" is a program suited for the beginner and intermediate level practitioner. It offers both theories and practices of Mahayana Buddhism. The program is designed to give participants firsthand meditative retreat experience, equipping them with a wealth of skills for making one's life more meaningful. The entire "Discovering the Dharma" course consists of fifteen subject areas covering all the major topics of Buddhism.

Although the "Discovering the Dharma" program is suited for beginner and intermediate level practitioners, this is an intense retreat and we ask that only serious students apply. Please see the program schedule from last year to get an idea of what you can expect to experience.
In the first retreat, Rinpoche covered five topics: The Mind - Cultivate Positive Energy, How to Meditate - Enhance Concentration and Calm our Mind, Mental Purification - Uncover Attachments and Learn to Let Go, Taking Refuge - Give Yourself the Gift of Commitment to Practice, Compassion and Bodhicitta - Cultivate and Integrate These Essential Qualities, and Daily Practice - Establish Consistency and Skills to be Successful.. See our report about the first retreat. In the second retreat, Rinpoche's teaching topics covered: Interdependent Arising - Examine How All Things Are Connected and Conditional, Karma - Review the Law of Actions and Consequences, Death and Rebirth - Explore the Reall Nature of Cyclical Existence, and Meditation on Emptiness. (See our report about the second retreat.)
This time he will primarily focus on some remaining topics. This course is highly recommended as it is a prerequisite for many of Rinpoche's future teachings. Retreats under the last two topics of the fifteen subject areas would require having received teachings on all prior topics.
