Barbelo of the Gnostics is Arupaloka or formless realm.

You would have to give a precise definition so we can see if this is true.

However, let's say that by some very broad stroke, I grant you this. In the arupa-loka, inhabitants of these realms are possessed entirely of mind. They have no physical body and are unable to hear Dharma teachings. In effect, they are screwed till their karma exhausts and they fall out of that realm. This is not a place one wants to be.

That is not a precise definition. However, given what you've wrote, we can say that that Barbelo is not equivalent to the arupa-loka. One does not equal the other.

My main point was that the root of Christianity (Gnosticism) at least conceives of that which is beyond samsaric form realms and samsaric heavens, etc.

To my opinion most christians impelled by their particular ideology that necessitates the furthurance of their view even when in most subtle form such as in esoteric christianity....they must spread it....

for most they if they couple that with belief in a heaven godly realm with compassionate effect coupled that...

most likely they would end up in a diety realm but the realm of contention in which one fights over and over for what one believes.
Having a great great state but always wanting a other perhaps driven from the notion however subtle they are not eternal.

So they may become azuras fighting the devas for perceptions of immortality.
Not necessarily in that form nor by that name but doing that.

The impetus that hounds them being the seed of that complusion to spread that thing...unconsiously the thing spread by appearence if all hold and believe it it most closely resembles truth. So that is the impetus. Untruth it be....such a realm they may hazard. Meglomaniac dieties always must have all follow them and not allow even a one to have exception. More like demons perhaps in that one regard..always complused.
If it is not coupled by that just simple heaven realm for a while with pure compassionate effect.
