Exist only in Indian culture.
I agree tantra is 100% Indian. I am reading a book on it right now by Gavin Flood PhD. And tantra certainly does NOT equal sexual practice. Tenzin1 is a compete moron.
Apparently open-minded intellectual inquiry isn't everyone's cup of tea.

They can not accept Christianity and western traditions are bullshit, so they try to find a textual/historical justification for Eastern style practices.
Making a lot of assumptions here about a complete stranger. I've been practicing Buddhism since I was a kid, because I could see as a kid that Christianity was just adult make-believe. I'm interested in the history of Kundalini practices, mystical practices across religions, and "sacred sex" practices in the religions where those are found. If you're not interested in those things, you can pass on this thread. What happened to the politeness this forum is known for? Doesn't the intro to this thread say, "Be nice to each other"? Is that for real? Or are "crazy widsom" practitioners exempt?
