Intellectualism, Right View and Awakening

No holds barred discussion on the Buddhadharma. Argue about rebirth, karma, commentarial interpretations etc. Be nice to each other.

Care to let us in on some details about the subjects of the sadhanas?

He wrote a sadhana of Buddhakāpala, a sadhana of Vajrayogini, and a sadhana of Mahakala, and so on, as well as a commentary on completion stage called Svādhiṣṭhanakrama. Who knows, maybe there other works.

I believe Saraha's Mahakala is actually incoporated into the Shangpa Kagyu "Heart-Jewel Rosary" of 13 Mahakalas.

Buddhakapala has come down to the Tibetans through Marpa, and is currently practiced in the Karma and Drikung Kagyu schools. His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche's Monastery, Sherab Ling, in India, does a Drupcho intensive every year.
