Untouchable.

No holds barred discussion on the Buddhadharma. Argue about rebirth, karma, commentarial interpretations etc. Be nice to each other.

Untouchable.

Kalli Biswokarma was been tortured for days by neighbours. Her crime: she lost her husband and is poor. During the torture she had to eat excrements, she was cutted in her skin till she finally agreed to be a witch. "Untouchable" - women have no any right.

Once in Nepal, a women, looking like never washed and really sick, decided to take the boat to go to a Hindu place for her prayers. She was very weak and I wanted to give her a hand to help her coming in the boat. The reaction and protest from people around me was strong; one must not do so. She entered the boat and wanted to sit there where I was. But she was chased away to the end of the boat. There she had to sit alone, away from everyone. From distance I could show my hands toward her and send a smile. Prayer for this Hindu sister.

EQUALITY. How easy to talk about in expensive elaborations.

As the Dalai Lama says, "World peace begins with inner peace."

People must purify their minds before their actions towards others can be pure. An impure mind with naturally perform impure and harmful actions. We must each make an effort to purify our minds of harmful negative emotions which obscure our true nature.

'Lo Muni :)

Sad story that ...

Sadder still is that the greatest man India has ever produced chose to live amongst the untouchables himself.

Not much was learnt from that.

Yes Luke, really like that!

Lo Clueless Git, indeed!

I got a cel phone (mobil). On it is a teaching on which at the end there is bursting of snobbing by the Rinpoche.

To not cling at emptiness, or to see an enemy in those harming others. Victims of misperception. (extremes)

Untouchable "outwards", or untouchable "inwards" (heart).

I add here a youtube of little Tibetan Pema in Nepal, who dances on gratefulness for parents, like gratefulness for all those who take care for others.
