I listen to The Moth Radio Hour whenever I remember. The link below is for last night's program. The segment I want to draw your attention to is Freddie Hubbards' story -it is, I think, segment three.

Mike's the down and out comic in segment 3 and he's talking about tonglen, not Freddie Hubbard. Freddie Hubbards is some bass player.

great story, interesting that it was his last moth story, too.

Freddie Hubbard is a post-bop/hard bop trumpeter and probably the baddest you know what that ever was.
