No offense, we would all like to see Tibet back to what was religiously but...

the Huan now constitute the great majority of the inhabitants of Tibet. When Bhutan expelled nonnative peoples from their nation peacefully in the 90's, to preserve their buddhist culture, it received world wide condemnation and was interpreted as a form of genocide. Any popular vote would hence have tibet as a part of china. This is the issue israel is approaching...soon palastinians will comprise the majority population in israel. The peoples on the side of tibet in a historical continuance in the us are curiously also usually on the side of unrestricted immigration to the US.

Larger nations/peoples will always try with their expanding populations to abscribe other neighboring nations to their own.....it is as it has always been. Large nations generally rule globally in opinion and otherwise. This issue was confused with communism but as in vietnam being all about the vietnamese it was all about china their expansion and chinese nationalism not communism.
The global perception of the recent Sri Lanka issue was a example of india/hindu nationalism and its expansion..but the examples are myriad. One now nation state of india was a independent state at one time but due to immigration became a part of india by popular opinion. The majority had become indian.

So it can never return except with the wholescale removal of Huan.Which China and the global community reflective of larger nations and their concerns will never allow.
"This order considers that progress can be achieved more rapidly during a single month of self-transformation through terrifying conditions in rough terrain and in "the abode of harmful forces" than through meditating for a period of three years in towns and monasteries"....Takpo Tashi Namgyal.
