Thanks for sharing, watching now. I met Bhikkhu Dhammanando in Thailand, a nice man and fine monk!

I really enjoyed watching the vimeo. His mother's indifference re her son being a Buddhist monk gave me pause. His wife from 'Kazakstan' Russia seemed to know very little about Buddhism or understand that he's been a monk for 16 years, the language barrier etc so I was not surprised that the relationship didn't last long. All in all a fascinating doco and Dhammanando seems now to be steady and mature.

He is on and off facebook but last I saw of him he was staying in a forest style Wat in the Chiang Mai region. He has become a little bit more involved in social work, especially with education for young Thai people. A very inspiring person!

I find those places a bit boring for my lifestyle and would much rather stay in Bangkok.

Thank you very much for sharing this inspirational film!

And thanks to the creator for making it publically accessible.

Gives much deep perspective on life in some way.

May Bhante Dhammanando continue on his way out of samsara with ease and lightness. He seems to be very much secure on this way. :)
