King Crimson is simply awesome.
"Just as a lotus does not grow out of a well-levelled soil but from the mire, in the same way the awakening mind
is not born in the hearts of disciples in whom the moisture of attachment has dried up. It grows instead in the hearts of ordinary sentient beings who possess in full the fetters of bondage." -Se Chilbu Choki Gyaltsen

Yeah, that particular lineup was pretty incredible:

I've had Tycho's last album "Dive" in constant rotation since it came out in 2011, so I was very excited today when I found out that he has a new one coming out in March.
Here's a preview:

Seems simple at first, but think it's well made as it moves on :

edit - couple more while I'm here :

I have now listened to many, more than ten, different the metal guitar neo-classic players. Some of them are really good, better than Dan Mumm. Here is one I like, it is another version of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata:

Two pieces from the famous modern composer Karlheinz Stockhausen:

These pieces are in the theme of Lucifer. Lucifer is in european culture and history the figure and person known as Bringer of Light, in sanskrit Dipankara, the Enlightened One. The idea of Lucifer the Light Bringer, as a bringer of esoteric and spiritual knowledege, was well known in 1800's and early 1900's. It is largely forgotten now, notably in modern buddhism. It is usefull to know that Lucifer stands for the Enlightend One. As educated christians know it, why should buddhists be in the dark? -be ignorant about it?

Lucifer was also the name of a magazine published by H. P. Blavatsky in London in 1800's

Pretty heavy, but I love the voice of the female singer in this band. From Lacuna Coil's upcoming album :

 Dakini.

Want to spread my wings and fly
Away into the sky
How I dream to be so free
No more sadness no more pain
No more anger no more hate
How I dream to have those wings and fly into the sky

If now, I could grant my wish
I'd wish to have those wings
Those wings just like the birds
That fly up in the air

So high up in the air
With feathers bright and fair
No wealth nor power can make
My heart filled with such joy

Want to spread my wings and fly
Away into the sky
How I dream to be so free
No more sadness no more pain
No more anger no more hate
How I dream to have those wings and fly into the sky

Want to spread my wings and fly
Away into the sky
How I dream to be so free
No more sadness no more pain
No more anger no more hate
How I dream to have those wings and fly into the sky
I'd fly
with those wings....

brujo's bowl….

i drank once ayahuasca with a brujo. real positive light good shamans are curanderos or ayahuasceros. brujo's are evil shamans.
If the thought of demons
Never rises in your mind,
You need not fear the demon hosts around you.
It is most important to tame your mind within....

In so far as the Ultimate, or the true nature of being is concerned,
there are neither buddhas or demons.
He who frees himself from fear and hope, evil and virtue,
will realize the insubstantial and groundless nature of confusion.
Samsara will then appear as the mahamudra itself….
