I want to blog about the following subject but do not have all the details so can you guys please help?

The above article states that the administration from an established Buddhist temple in Japan is using the popularity of cosplay (costume play) and anime (Japanese animation) to reach out and hopefully increase the sangha of the temple. Can someone identify this temple from the videos? I don't speak Japanese.

Ryoho-ji 了法寺 is the temple's name.

Here's their site...

They identify as Nichiren.

Man, some Japanese Buddhist traditions are getting desperate.

Bad idea after bad idea. There was a fashion show a few years ago. They've also tried doing sutra recitation put to rap. Now cosplay.

It really goes nowhere at all.

If they preached the Lotus Sutra & Nichiren's words people will come. It's that they are selling everything but the Dharma.
