Postby Khalil Bodhi » Sat Oct 19, 2013 11:29 pm

Hey all,

I am looking for specifically Gelugpa instructions on cultivating the brahma viharas. Recommendations of books, audio, teachers would all be appreciated. Metta.

The Four Immeasurables

By Bhikshuni Thubten Chodron who was ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun in the Gelug tradition in 1977.

Tong-len and the Four immeasurable Thoughts

By Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche

The Practice of the Four Immeasurables

Sangye Khadro was ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun in the Gelug tradition in 1974. She has expanded the above teaching, and added a number of meditations, in her book Awakening the Kind Heart: How to Meditate on Compassion published by Wisdom Publications in 2010.
