Hello there,
is there any list of books which were really written or edited by H.H. himself? Becase there is a lot of books by H.H. but some of them were edited or put together by different editors.
What I am looking for is real "dalailama stuff" to read.
Thank you in advance.

I don't have a complete list, but Opening the Eye of New Awareness is a very nice book written by HHDL himself. A lot of the other books are transcriptions of his oral teachings. But I don't think these are less "real Dalai Lama stuff".

IMO, HHDL's oral teachings (often edited/translated by Thupten Jinpa) are as "real" as it gets and
also represents the bulk of what is published out there.

Yep, such as this book:

http://www.lamayeshe.com/index.php?sect=article&id=421" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And also:

A Trilogy:

(

Forward written by H.H. the Dalai Lama:

http://books.google.com/books?id=imLeWk ... =html_text" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Since this thread isn't Gelug-specific, and since H.H. the Dalai Lama is a Rimé Master, perhaps this thread ought to get moved to the main Tibetan Buddhism forum.

Let's see how the thread develops. Most of HHDL's books are generally Classical Indian Mahayana in presentation, though there are many commentaries by His Holiness out there based upon the seminal works of the Gelug lineage. There are a lesser number of books like Mind in Comfort and Ease - The Vision of Enlightenment in the Great Perfection that are specifically Nyingma in inspiration. Other books could be classified as Engaged Buddhism, Inter-religious dialogue, etc.
So the same argument could be made to shift the list of his books from the Tibetan forum to the general Mahayana forum, or any other forum. Let's see how the thread develops.

HH Dalai lama is more Rime then anything, When he is universally loved by Buddhists of many sects its natural for him to present himself in a Non Partisan manner Gelug can no longer really lay claim to HH.
When I think of HH Dalai lama I think of Vajrayana in General rather then one sect in particular.

My buddy just gave me his copy of HHDL's "Essence of the Heart Sutra".
This is the friend that got me to go to the Vietnamese TianTai temple, so he's kinda "mainstream" Mahayana, and he said the book came highly recommended to him.
Just thought I'd share.
