Recommend a book on Medicine Buddha.

Postby leke » Thu May 10, 2012 12:18 am

Can anyone recommend a book on Medicine Buddha that's maybe on a par with this one?

While we're on the subject, can anyone recommend a place a can buy stuff related to my Tibetan Buddhist practice -- preferably in Europe?

Thanks.

I think you'd find Thrangu Rinpoche's book useful: http://www.namobuddhapub.com/Medicine_B ... p000mb.htm

There is no other book that is better on this topic. It is an amazing book containing crystal clear instructions on everything you need to know for Medicine Buddha practice. Not only that, Rinpoche explains the creation and completion stages in a way that is helpful for any yidam practice. :reading:

This Medicine Master Sutra, here in book form, is also found online at Fodian: http://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchR ... &x=44&y=11
One should refrain from biased judgments and doubting in fathoming the Buddha and the Dharma of the Buddhas. Even though a dharma may be extremely difficult to believe, one should nonetheless maintain faith in it. Nagarjuna
