Forgotten Pathways of Buddhism

Postby Dhammakid » Tue Dec 14, 2010 8:45 pm

Hello all,
I wasn't sure where to post this...

Just thought I'd mention a wonderful research study on Buddhism's contact with Ancient Greece and Egypt. It's made available free online by the Corporate Body of the Buddha Educational Foundation (which many of you know offers free books on their website.)

Link to study: http://www.scribd.com/doc/41017214/FORG ... F-BUDDHISM

Let me know what you all think of it when you read it.

Hello Dhammakid,

102 pages is a lot to read - what is your opinion, and which points seemed particularly striking to you?

Very interesting Dhammakid..perhaps when you have a chance you could share your reflections ?
The going for refuge is the door of entrance to the teachings of the Buddha.
