In my experience, when teaching westerners, Nyingmapas don't go into great detail about the Six Perfections. They certainly mention them to inform you about them, and encourage you to always practice them, but all in a brief way. The teachings on conduct reflect more what to do with the mind, ie. Dzogchen teachings.heart wrote:I think you have to realize that the treatment of the various Mahayana tenets does not change so much between the various schools Sangey.sangyey wrote:Does anyone know where the most comprehensive treatment of the six perfections can be found in the Nyingma tradition?

We should practice them when we have the chance, but they take forever to attain Buddhahood. That's why we use tantric techniques.
