March 4: Tang-Rak Tsok Khor (Offering Gratitude Ganachakra) & Losar Prep

March 5: Losar: New Year of the Rabbit
9:00am - 2:00pm: Lake Born Vajra puja w/ Khandro Norlha practice (long life and wealth empowerment) followed by tsok, party w/ traditional Tibetan food followed by Riwo Sangchod smoke offering puja.

This retreat will take as its focus Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche’s Vajrakilaya mind treasure, Putri Rekphung (The Razor that Destroys at a Touch),The wrathful practice of Vajrakilaya, the manifestation of all Buddha activity, carries the power to swiftly cut through all outer, inner and secret obstacles.

The practice is traditionally performed in the days running up to Tibetan New Year in order to incinerate, cleanse and pacify all our negativities, bad fortune, obstacles, illness, demonic influence and defilements accumulated in the out-going year, culminating in the Gutor ritual on March 3 where the wrathful torma, representative of all our gross and subtle obstacles, is cast out into a fire and the sacred Black Hat dance is performed.

The way is paved for an auspicious New Year, where all positive circumstances increase like the waxing moon. Relative circumstances such as longevity, merit, glories, joy and family lineage are increased. And on the path, meditation qualities, experience, wisdom and fruition of practice are accomplished.
