Garab Dorje Guru Yoga

In the book, The Golden Letters, there is a Guru Yoga practice associated with Garab Dorje. Does the lung given by ChNN for Garab Dorje allow one to do this practice?

The Short Tun or the Guru Yoga of the white A both take Garab Dorje(representing the union of all masters) as the object of refuge.

edit: eh, misread, not sure about the one in the Golden Letters.

Could the mantra of Garab Dorje, "Om Ah Guru Prajnabhava Hevajra Sarva Siddhi Hum" be used by anyone in the same way that the Vajra Guru mantra of Padmasambhava is used?
