Powa hole in the skull and Guru Yoga

Post by frank123 »

Is it possible to develop Powa signs like the hole in the posterior fontanelle from practicing Dzogchen Guru yoga?

Maybe - and that's definite.

I haven't seen it get big enough to put the piece of straw in. I have seen it open a little.

Unless the straw goes in the hole and stands up on it's own it doesn't count.

phowapas said to me (i was never at a phowa-retreat) it counts.
headache, little drop of blood, drop of lymph, small wounds, and if i remember well some kind of dreams too.
but i do not know if this is "traditional", or written in old phowa-manuals, etc....

No it isn't. He's not talking about Dzogchen GY.
