Thousands of Indian Devotees Attend Dalai Lama’s Teachings

Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader Dalai Lama today started a 3-day teaching on Kamalashila's The Middling Stages of Meditation for Indians audience in Tsuglakhang temple in Dharamsala.

More than 6 thousand are attending the introductory Buddhist teachings. The 76-year old leader expressed his happiness in giving teachings to back Indians who he said are the first lineage holders of Buddhism.Thupten Tsewang of New Delhi based Foundation for Universal Responsibility of Dalai Lama - one of the organizing institutions - said Indians from big cities, rural villages and overseas have come to Dharamsala for Dalai Lama's teachings.The Indian audience will have a special session with Samdhong Rinpoche and Geshe Lhakdor la, to further discuss the teachings in the evenings. They will have a question and answer session with the Dalai Lama on the last day of the teaching.
