manufacturers do not need to register their products with FDA nor get FDA approval before producing or selling dietary supplements

its called codex alimentarius.

The Codex Alimentarius Commission was created in 1963 by FAO and WHO to develop food standards, guidelines and related texts such as codes of practice under the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Programme. The main purposes of this Programme are protecting health of the consumers and ensuring fair trade practices in the food trade, and promoting coordination of all food standards work undertaken by international governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Tashi delek Greg,

Thanks to make us attent to this new manipulation of the chemical brothers.

Do practice acupuncture + herbal medicine, Shiatsu, Tui na and some Tibetan Medicine. :yinyang:
Import on a regular base Chinese patent pills from China. :yinyang:
It would be a disater if that would stop because the Chinese medicine as well the Tibetan are very powerfull in case of prevention.

Like we all know is an internal organ ill in the western medicine, when it is for more than 40% is destroyed / ill etc. :o
We do not know the prevention of illness, here in our western medicine. So therefore is needed very strong medicine in the west in case of illness when it is too late for curing.

In Tibet and China the doctor also visits one, if one is " healthy " or is going to his/her next illness.
Then the Amchi or Acupuncturist can use the " soft" herbs to eliminate the upcoming illness. Besides that herbal medicine does not have side effects in comparisation to the heavy chemical stuff.

Best wishes with our daily individual practice
