My grandmother was diagnosed with Leukaemia two and a half years ago. She was given only two years, but she fought through and achieved remission. However, the cancer came back within the last few weeks and she was not strong enough to go through another round of chemotherapy. She passed away in her sleep after a few days of difficulty. She was a very kind, honest, generous woman. She was very strong and continued to fight right up until the end.
She was agnostic and asked for a humanist funeral, which will be just before the new year.
I would appreciate any thoughts and prayers for her.
May any merit I have gained so far be hers.
