As many of you have probably seen on the news, Boulder, Colorado is having severe flooding right now. Several people have lost their lives and countless damage has been done. Please offer your prayers. Today is also Tara day, so if you do that practice it is especially helpful to dedicate that, as natural disasters are one of the things the practice is said to be beneficial for.

im a bit too late but if theres a next time ksitigarbha bodhisattva can help you. you can read also a similar story on the link where theres a testimony where natural catastrophe was avoided.

If the thought of demons
Never rises in your mind,
You need not fear the demon hosts around you.
It is most important to tame your mind within....

In so far as the Ultimate, or the true nature of being is concerned,
there are neither buddhas or demons.
He who frees himself from fear and hope, evil and virtue,
will realize the insubstantial and groundless nature of confusion.
Samsara will then appear as the mahamudra itself….
