Good idea Kirt, I have reminded him of that possibility. Do not know yet what he may do.
May all seek, find & follow the Path of Buddhas.

Re foreign health care for Dharmamitra: It is a possibility, but not likely he says. The U of Washington Medical Center Transplant Team has been taking care of him and they should continue.
It is not an emergency situation - yet. But his medical team will do all they can (hopefully) to secure financial aid. There are wealthy Chinese Buddhists that may step forward - we shall see.

Re: Bhikshu Dharmamitra Has New Life
Good news, the very expensive drug therapy has been covered and Dharmamitra is a few days into taking it. He notices an improvement already and expects after one month to be almost cured. The entire regimen is three months, so he will follow through and since there is over 90% success with this treatment - it looks rosy!

This is truly a cause for rejoicing. Dharmamitra's translations have been very important for many practitioners; I've learned from them, and our little Tendai sangha has read some of them together in discussion groups. May Dharmamitra enjoy a long and healthful life, and may his Dharma activities flourish! Will wrote:Good news, the very expensive drug therapy has been covered and Dharmamitra is a few days into taking it.
