A tribute to the monks and nuns of Burma

In 2007, hundreds of Burmese monks and nuns risked their lives to protest the repressive policies of Burma's military government.

I wanted to create a thread to pay respect to the brave Burmese monks and nuns who took part in those peaceful protests. Like the monks and nuns in Tibet, they are true symbols of engaged Buddhism, and they make me proud to say, "I take refuge in the sangha."
