List About Scriptures?

Discuss and learn about the traditional Mahayana scriptures, without assuming that any one school ‘owns’ the only correct interpretation.

List About Scriptures?

Postby Ayu » Sun Jul 06, 2014 9:12 am

Is there any list to overview the amount of chinese scriptures that are surviving into our century?

I would like to have an idea about which scriptures are there. Mahayanian canon, Nagarjuna, etc.

About tibetean scriptures would be interesting too.

This will give you some idea regarding the Chinese Tripitaka:

Every time you recite Amita Buddha’s name, a ray of light shines through empty space. If you recite very sincerely, then this light fills up the universe, so that the energy of all worlds will be auspicious and harmonious.
