Jigme Lingpa center

Postby tomamundsen » Wed Mar 16, 2011 5:54 am

Hi,

Is anyone here familiar with the Jigme Lingpa center (http://www.jigmelingpacenter.com/JigmeLingpa.html) in Los Angeles? They won't respond to my e-mail, and their phone number is out of service. They are one of only two Nygingma centers I can locate in LA. The other one, T'hondup Ling (http://www.thondupling.org/), no longer has an active lama. The center is about a half hour away from where I live, so I'd prefer to not drive all the way out there without knowing if it even still exists.

Or if anyone knows of other Nygingma centers in LA that have an active lama, that will do as well.

Thanks,
Tom

There's Khenpo Sonam's center in LA, Lhundrup Choling, at 2481 Amherst Ave., LA, CA 90064. Khenpo Sonam's great. Plus they invite a lot of guest Lamas. Khenpo Sonam is Bhutanese and practices both Longchen Nyingthig and Dudjom Tersar.
