pray for beings who's suffering in Japan

Postby narraboth » Sat Mar 12, 2011 10:12 pm

H.H. the Dalai Lama has sent a massage to Japanese Prime Minister, giving his thought to those who died and their families.
At the mean time, monks are chanting 100000 heart sutra in Dharmsala.
H.H. also suggested that Japanese Buddhists can chant heart sutra to help those died also prevent any coming disaster.

If you like, chant heart sutra and dedicate to all who suffering there.

Shouldn't that be:

''gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā '' ?

''para'' = ''beyond''.

Nevertheless, a fine act to perform at this time. :)

Pray they get those nuclear reactors under control too.

ELEMENTAL PRAYER
From Sampa Lhundrupma Prayer
(For any danger connected to the elements)

SA CHHU ME LUNG JUNG WAI BAR CHË KYIY
When obstacles of the elements, earth, water, fire and wind arise,

GYU LÜ NYEN CHING JIK PAI DÜ JUNG TS'HE
if it becomes dangerous for both humans, animals and their dwelling places,

YÏ NYIY T'HE TS'HOM MË PAR SOLWA DEP
pray intensely to Guru Rinpoche without doubt.

ORGYEN JUNG WA ZHI YI LHA MOR CHEY
He is Padmasambhava, surrounded by the four element goddesses,

JUNG WA RANG SAR ZHI WAR T'HE TS'HOM MË
who will definitely pacify all dangers.

ORGYEN PEMA JUNG NAY LA SOL WA DEP
I pray to the Guru, Lotus Born.

SAM PA LHÜN GYIY DRUP PAR JIN GYIY LOB
May you fulfill our wishes spontaneously!

This prayer will definitely make a difference if you can repeat it at least 108 times. I translated this prayer by Tsultrim's request, due to the fire danger in Colorado. -- Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche

From the "Seven Chapter Invocation to Guru Rinpoche," a Northern Terma of Rigdzin Gö Dem
Contentment is the ultimate wealth;
Detachment is the final happiness. ~Sri Saraha

Please chant “Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha” for this fragile earth that we live on, for this fragile earth that we forget to love and care for. And for those who live in Japan, now is the time to remember and beseech the protection and blessing of the sublime Fudō Myōō.

Although many individuals in this age appear to be merely indulging their worldly desires, one does not have the capacity to judge them, so it is best to train in pure vision.

Acala is very important in Chinese/Japanese vajrayana practice.
In Tibetan Buddhism, not very many people practice this diety, but still exist in long lineage and terma...
I think there are some sadhana in Rinchen Terdzo, and one important terma called 'Acala Vajra bridge' is one of not many Anuyoga terma in Rinchen Terdzo. (Don't ask me what's in there, I haven't received it, I don't know)

Ju Mipham actually wrote a special Acala prayer in his 20 or something; he said the prayer was just appeared from his mind and without modification, though it's as precious as gold, who chant it will be free from obstructions.

Anyway Acala is a powerful diety... and yes we need his protection a lot right now when Japanese people are struggling to cool down the nuclear plants!
