Request: Saraswati / Loter Yangchenma / Benzaiten statue

I recently became responsible for a small sangha in Washington, DC. We have a lot of needs and thin resources. One of our needs is an image to put on the altar we don't have yet. Specifically, I'm trying hard to track down a Saraswati statue intended for sangha use. I'm not particular if it's a Japanese (Benzaiten) or Tibetan-Himalayan (Loter Yangchenma) one, so long as it inspires.

Saraswati is particularly appropriate to bring peace and beauty to the middle of a place that is not infrequently home to such bullet-headed and aggressive mindspace, no?

Can anyone please direct me in the right direction?

many thanks,
Jikan

Wonderful! Even not sure to understand your request.

Maybe one example: Wherever you put an altar one does it with naturally respect and so in a clean place. As it represent the purity of body speech mind is it very easy to do so.

A table is okay but you should be lower than Tara. She must be higher than your head when you sit down in front.

If you have no shrine room, it can be placed in another room. Only always with respect and not at the end of your bed, put it on the head.

Keep the table only for your altar and Mickey Mouse need not at the same table. That one can nicely in the bed.

Small fresh (daily) water pots (seven) and offered candles, flowers, incense, food must be kept fresh and clean as well.

Loter Yangchenma: *Om Tare Tuttare Ture Prajna Hrim Hrim Svaha*.

*Om Ah Hung* Prostration.

Thanks muni.

What I really need to find is someone who has such a statue and would be willing to share it, or knows how to make one and would be willing to do so for a small donation, &c. Our group isn't quite a charity case... yet. And I'm trying to contrive a positive karmic relationship between our humble group and a slice the Buddhist world at large in this way.

I understand. Meanwhile you have not yet a statue, a humble action: a beautiful drawing/painting.

Many people have no statues and use simple postcards on the home altar.

ebay?
