Thank you for posting this. I've been watching some of the Lamrim presentation, but not live and not all - this is a very busy time of year for me.
HHDL is addressing many of the same issues we've been discussing here on the forum recently: secular ethics, the efficacy of prayer, the power of faith, the necessity of environmentalism, etc. It seems to be an outreach directly to the West and more Westernized cultures for us to do all that we can to dispel cultural malaise and generate compassion. Methinks he knows something we don't, or at least, something to which we don't pay enough attention.

If they can sever like and dislike, along with greed, anger, and delusion, regardless of their difference in nature, they will all accomplish the Buddha Path.. ~ Sutra of Complete Enlightenment
