Wrathful form of Medicine Buddha?

Post by Rinchen Dorje »

Does anyone know of a wrathful form of Medicine Buddha?

Check this out.
Guru Rinpoche appears in the form of Medicine Buddha in many lineages.
And, he has certain blissful and wrathful aspects that have healing aspects.

So there is, for example, the practice of Dorje Gotrab (Vajra Armor).

Hayagriva, Garuda, Troma Nagmo, Guru Dragphur and so on all have specific healing qualities.

Shanglong Dorje Duddul is a wrathful protector of Tibetan Medicine that not so many people know about. I'm not sure if he's considered a form of Medicine Buddha or not.
