HI All,
I recently visited a famous Shiva temple near Mangalore, South India. The temple was previously Buddhist, and later became temple dedicated to Shiva.
The temple still holds a bronze idol of Lokeshvara. The Lokeshvara is of three faces, and Six Arms.
It would be nice if some one could comment more on the Iconography of this Lokeshvara.
I attach the picture of the idol below.
They are no pujas currently offered to Lokeshvara,except for a flower garland. It is named as "Trilokeshvara" by the temple authorities.
