Buddhism in Russia and Mongolia

Postby lotwell » Tue May 29, 2012 7:46 pm

I've been finding the Buddhism in Russian, namely Kalmykia and buratyia, and their histories very fascinating.

Can anyone reccomend a good book or two on this topic or perhaps even some online resources? Thank you.

All I know is that Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's mother was Kalmykian. Perhaps you could ask him these questions on his blog (scroll down to the near the bottom of the page for the contact form).
