Starting today, 17 July 2011, thru 23 July many Buddhists around the planet will be reciting chapter 25 of the Lotus Sutra. This chapter deals with Avalokiteshvara or Kuan Yin, and the merit from such recitation is dedicated to all beings finding and treading the path to buddhahood successfully.

Sunday 13 July begins one of the 2014 Kuan Yin sessions, which runs through until the 19th. The Universal Door chapter of the Lotus Sutra is recited, as is the Name - Kuan Yin.
