Help with the name "Lepra King"

Dear friends,

there is the famous Jayavarman VII which was told as a reincarnation of (Avaloketeshva/Chenresi) in the Khmer Empire. Sometimes he is also told as the "Lepra King" a Bodhisattva that leads to big "destroying" to let the life goes on in a new way. (don't take it word by word...)

Do anyone knows about the therm "lepra king" and a connection to the Bodhisattva of Compassion?
