The Future
Re: The Future
The only thing is Christopher seems to think that it won't be long until we realize this Regulus in Virgo is energy is here. I tend to disagree on this point. When a planet is in 0 - 5 degrees of a house, for example, it is said to be in it's "Infancy" and it's effects are actually still usually felt in the house it departed from instead of the new house it entered until it is operating at about the 5'th degree of the new house. It is similar to this situation. Yes, Regulus is in Virgo now but it is only in zero degrees of Virgo. It will be felt much more than when it was in 29 degrees of Leo. However, a complete transit of this star takes roughly 2100 years. Divided by 30 degrees, that's roughly 70 years per degree. That means that we will continue to slowly see the Virgo effect in this area increase with time, although the Leo energy will not be fully taken over by the Virgo energy until roughly 2362 AD, when it is full blown at 5 of 30 degrees Virgo. In short, isn't Regulus in Virgo still in it's infancy?
Regulus in Virgo and TTM
People, including Westerners (and definitely not excluding Tibetans) are about to become more interested in health (and TTM) than they ever were before. Why? Because of the new Regulus in Virgo aspect, which will last 2100 years. Regulus has to do with power and large-scale power structures, but it also has to do with how people empower themselves in every day life, and in how they feel empowered. This was in Leo, so people felt empowered when they were independant, strong, admired, rebellious and brave. Think the hip people being strong and macho, perhaps smoking, etc., very grandiose and Leonian. Well now that has shifted and Regulus is in Virgo, and Virgo rules health. People will be much more health-conscious than ever before. We could see this building in the last degrees of Leo but now the shift is explicit and will grow more exponentially than before. The hippest of the hip will be greatly health conscious, and people will no longer be able to feel empowered while not also watching their habits and diet very closely. The Harley Davidson will no longer be cool, unless it is taking you to get a balanced meal, that fits in the proper time slot for eating (Virgo is meticulous with details).
Of course, that old Leo energy is still going to be kicking around for 350 years (the amount of time it takes for Regulus to meet the 5'th degree of Virgo, the true end of the cusp if you will) in some form or another, but it has lost it's stronghold over the Virgoan energy in this area which has been slowly building up for the past 350 years.

Ah, it feels good living under this star, as a triple Virgo myself (Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn).Virgo wrote: Of course, that old Leo energy is still going to be kicking around for 350 years (the amount of time it takes for Regulus to meet the 5'th degree of Virgo, the true end of the cusp if you will) in some form or another, but it has lost it's stronghold over the Virgoan energy in this area which has been slowly building up for the past 350 years.

How can Regulus be in Virgo? I looked at a modern star map and Regulus is about 20 degrees away from the Leo-Virgo border. Is this due to astrology defining the constellations differently, precession of the equinoxes or something else?
Sergeant Schultz knew everything there was to know.
