Just curious as I am headed out the door with work for a few months and was wondering if there were any Temples in the Comox Vally as I live near none and would love to go to one if given the chance while I am away. If anyone could let me know that would be great.

Thanks very much

I came up with this:

http://www.bcc.ca/

I hope it helps, it seems to be in Comox Valley :)

Best,
Laura

I live in the Comox Valley. We are on Denman Island, which is considered part of the Comox Valley area.

My local Dharma centre (The Hermitage) is right here on the island: http://www.dharmafellowship.org/index.htm. There is also (or was until not too long ago - I can't find their website now) a temple in Coombs, which is not too far from the Comox Valley - less than an hour's drive. There is a Tibetan former monk in Courtenay who (I think) has a meditation group.

The bcc.ca link that Ngawang Drolma gave doesn't seem to relate to the Comox Valley. Their nearest temples appear to be on the lower mainland. The organization may have some presence here other than a temple - there was a news link from last summer on their site that related to the Comox Valley, but the link didn't work when I tried it.

PM me if I can be of any help.

Yes, off the Alberni Hwy right, at Butterfly World, right at Grafton and down a ways to the left, across from the organic blueberry farm.
