Summer heat in DC

Postby LastLegend » Sat Jun 11, 2011 3:58 pm

It's driving me crazy. I just want to beat someone up sometimes.

It's nauseating. I'm a few miles down the road in Virginia and everything smells swampy. I'm concerned for elderly and sick people, or the poor who can't escape the heat or stay hydrated.

... and cooling stations are not opened and the Metro cars are undercooled and 1/20 of the Metro cars supposedly have no air conditioning at all - but in the past several days I've only found 1 car that had air conditioning working so that 1/20 number reported on the news surely isn't correct. This city closed down before air conditioning became commonplace.

No relief yet here in North Carolina either. It is not usually this hot until late July through August.
