My personal experience is that composers like Karlheinz Sockhausen, John Cage, György Ligeti, Penderezky, Iannis Xenakis, Luigi Nono, etc... have something transcendental in their music, and I would say that there is something of buddha-dharma in their music. Whether they attach to it the name "buddhism" or not is beside the point altogether.
