Anyone notice this so called Buddhist faction on this forum being allowed put forward this
aggressively warped agenda and being protected by most of the mods?

Debating materialists is like shooting fish in a barrel - Why react against their views when in the final analysis their main 'intellectual' defence seems to be "Because the philosophy we follow is the dominant one, it must represent the One True Reality" _ _
"Removing the barrier between this and that is the only solution" {Chogyam Trungpa - "The Lion's Roar"}

I wonder if they would get away with this disregard for tos on the sutra forums.
There seems an obvious allowance for this activity on the Tibetan forums.

Hi :hi:
If you have something to say about the relationship between scientific materialism and Buddhism, there's a thread over here - http://www.dharmawheel.net/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=16973 - that is dedicated to working out what it might be. Feel free to join in.

Ahem ... you are being disrespectful to the mods, right from the beginning of the thread, and you're not being particularly nice about ordinary members, either.

A moderators job is to protect members from personal attacks, regardless of their philosophical affiliations (unless their affiliations are contrary to the Terms of Service, in which case they are normally banned), as long as they abide by the Terms of Service.

ie Their role is to facilitate healthy discussion and debate.

If you believe that a staff member is abusing their powers, then please feel free to contact the board owner Mr Snyder with your complaint.

I also recommend you read the ToS

Thank you
"When one is not in accord with the true view
Meditation and conduct become delusion,
One will not attain the real result
One will be like a blind man who has no eyes."
