The logical conclusion of that is that there are then congregations of Buddhists that are sangha and some that are not. There are then groups of Buddhists that have the reciprocal relationships outlined by the pratimoksha, and the corrsponding ethcial commitments-- and some not.

I simply don't accept that this or any other forum represents Sangha.

Which carries no implication that it gives me license to behave in a way incompatible with Sangha if it were one...and I sometimes do act in such a way. I am working on that.
But a Sangha ?...no.

But an online forum of largely anonymous monads typing their subjectivity onto a keyboard and sending their musings off into cyberspace does not by any reasonable definition amount to a 'congregation' at all.
Most of the elements that make up human communication are missing.
Body language, vocal tones, eye contact, empathy or its absence, personality,touch, even smell...
We are not vaporous spirits in some platonic universe...
Its a poor substitute at best for Sangha.

I consider it a sangha, and frame my experience as if it were a sangha.

As such someone has acted inappropriately and/or I myself have committed some ethical impropriety.
