When do you think the US will have a Buddhist president?

My (undisclosed) sources say that Obama will become a Buddhist a little after bombing the sh*t out of Syria. Apparently (like Ashoka) he will feel great remorse for his actions (but that won't stop him using their resources) and will build a series of free wi-fi transmitter towers across the globe to spread the word of how much Buddha loves us all. And, might I add, my sources are reputable!

If there ever were a Buddhist president, Greg's scenario sounds like a plausible future lol.

You guys are reminding me of something I read years ago:
"No matter who you vote for, a politician gets elected."
It's a shame, isn't it?

Bill Clinton:

But of course that is much different from engaging in Buddhist practices before the elections.

I suspect the US will cease to exist as a political entity without ever having had a Buddhist president.

When the Christian vote doesn't matter anymore.
