Donor Sibling Registry & IVF families

Postby DGA » Thu Aug 08, 2013 3:42 pm

The Donor Sibling Registry is a kind of database and online community in which persons who have been involved in any way with invitro fertilization (so-called "test tube babies") can connect: sperm & egg donors, children born of IVF who may share half-siblings through donors, and their families. Think of the movie "The Kids are Alright."

this is a related site that is free, but much less private:

I think all this is remarkable, as it makes connections possible, and sharing of important family medical histories. Sometimes the truth can be explosive though...

I'd like to know what people here think of this.
I don't know anything about Hongaku Jodo.
