Nice word.

My new favorite is "katzenjammer".
1 : hangover
2 : distress 2
3 : a discordant clamor
Examples
traffic was all tied up, the kids were fighting, and in the midst of all this katzenjammer, the phone rang
Origin: German, from Katze cat + Jammer distress.

There's a cartoon strip called the katzenjammer kids.

I always liked 'spielfest' (with the 's' pronounced as 'sh'). An alternative name for a sales conference or political summit. I coined it myself, to my dismay it still hasn't become part of the language, so I will continue to throw it out from time to time.
